Construction Project Manager – Commercial New Construction

A growing construction management and general contracting firm with a strong track record in delivering commercial new construction projects across New Jersey. From ground-up office buildings and retail centers to industrial warehouses and healthcare facilities, we manage projects from concept through close-out with a focus on quality, budget, and client satisfaction.

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial new construction projects from pre-construction through final turnover. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Specific Skills

5+ years of experience managing commercial ground-up construction projects
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and project delivery
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and NJ building codes
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across New Jersey

Responsible For

Oversee all phases of commercial new construction projects, from site mobilization to completion
Manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation
Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and local authorities
Lead project meetings, track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues
Manage procurement, logistics, and subcontractor performance
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders
